What a week !!

What a week we have had down on the farm. Keep reading to see what we have been up to this time.

So, our week started with Jenni doing her second Wild Tribe training on Monday.

All over the weekend and Monday/Tuesday we were silaging - both the clamp silage and round bale haylage and then the hay was baled on Tuesday.  Andrew has then spent the week bringing in all the bales.

Wednesday saw our Primary Care Farmers return for their 3rd visit and a trip to Kivells market.

We also had a group of 45 school children here from Essex (on residential in Devon) to do a Survival Day with Roli and Pete. Unfortunately their coach broke down, so at one point, we have 2 coaches here and 2 mechanics trying to fix the problem. They had a great day but bless them, it was so hot !

Friday saw our Okehampton Care Farmers return and they helped to give the new calves a Vecoxxin drench, to help prevent coccidiosis, a nasty tummy bug.  Then we took a walk down towards the Culm, to explain about the importance of Culm and we also did some tree ID work.
