Wild Tribe sessions begin

We are very excited to announce that we have begun our Wild Tribe sessions, with Bradworthy Primary's Class 2.

Monday afternoons are now Wild Tribe afternoons and we had great fun in our first session.

I have planned the sessions in conjunction with the class teacher, to ensure I am covering what the children need to be taught.

So, Class 2 are focusing on Maths. This week we started with patterns, looking at patterns within nature and also using nature to create our own patterns. The children were sent off to find some items relevant to the card they were given, for example, Green, Thin, Yuck, Soft etc. They then worked in groups to design some patterns with those objects and then the painted them and printed their patterns on paper. 

We had a great time down in camp, walking through the woods, on our Wild Tribe adventure.
